What happens in the story
Mona keeps every part of her life in order and has already formed her opinion of most people. That order begins to fracture when circumstances force her to share a house with David, her stepbrother, a smug alpha type and the last man she could ever respect. Every day they exchange jabs and refuse to back down, and a series of bad decisions slowly takes apart her neat view of the world.
It is enemies-to-lovers in its classic shape, transplanted to the stepfamily territory Candy visits so often. The tension comes from the way the two grate on each other rather than from a single big scenario, which is exactly why five episodes would never be enough.
Why fifteen episodes matter
Most Candy AI Shorts series last five episodes, two to set things up and three for the payoff. Mona’s Worst Enemy is one of only four series that run to 15, and that changes how the story unfolds. The rivalry gets room to develop, things between Mona and David can go wrong, and the shift can come step by step rather than in one jump. If the build-up is what you love most in this genre, this is one of the few series on the platform that truly gives you one. We love that Candy is willing to invest in a story this long.
The downside is the commitment. Thirteen episodes is a lot to unlock for a story you are not sure about, so the free part matters more than usual.
What the free episodes reveal
The opening two episodes are free and, as in every Candy series, suggestive rather than explicit. They introduce Mona, David and how the two collide. That is the true test: if their sparring already amuses you, the long build that follows will feel like a treat, and if it annoys you, thirteen more episodes of it will not win you over. - A great match if you enjoy enemies-to-lovers stories, slow burns and stepsibling plots, and you prefer watching a relationship evolve over jumping straight to the payoff.
- Skip it if you want early explicit scenes or have a tight token budget. A five-parter gets there faster for roughly a quarter of the cost.

If five episodes feel too rushed, Mona’s Worst Enemy is the series for you. The premise runs on friction, and fifteen episodes give that friction time to turn into something else. It only rewards you if you intend to finish, though: begin with the two free episodes, and unlock the rest once Mona and David have hooked you. When they do, you will be glad Candy gave this feud so much room.
