The setup
A storm pushes you off the road, and the only shelter nearby is a chapel in the middle of nowhere. Two nuns live there, cut off from the world for years, and their interest in the unexpected guest goes far past what their vows permit. Candy sells it as hospitality of a decidedly unholy kind.
Two things stand out. First, the second-person narration: you are the traveler, so the viewer is the lead rather than a spectator watching a named character. Second, the tone is openly playful. This is a forbidden-fruit fantasy served with a wink, not a solemn drama about faith.
What makes it different
A Taboo tag on Candy almost always means family: stepmoms, stepsisters, in-laws. The Nuns Took Me In finds its taboo somewhere else entirely, in religious life meeting temptation. That alone makes it one of the most original titles with the tag, and we love Candy for taking the risk.
The storm is an efficient device as well. Nobody can leave, nobody else is coming, and the whole series can play out in one isolated place. The downside is that the synopsis offers no second hook, so the premise is the entire appeal and a twist beyond it seems unlikely.

Our verdict
The Nuns Took Me In is a one-joke series, but it is a good joke, and a genuine change from the family-taboo stories that fill Candy. The second-person angle fits the fantasy, the price is standard, and two free episodes will quickly tell you whether it lands. Candy keeps surprising us with premises this fresh, and that is exactly why we keep coming back.
