The synopsis in brief
Harlow is a trainer who likes being in control, and she has picked the weakest recruit for a private session at 1800. He is skinny and failing, hardly the obvious choice. Another woman, who has a crush on him, trails them and finds out what the private hour really involves. Her first move is to threaten to report them to the captain; in the end she wants to join.
What makes it interesting
The power dynamic is the hook. A dominant woman paired with an underdog who is clearly out of his league feels different from the stepfamily secrets that fill the catalogue. The captain and a session set in military time hint at a disciplined, academy-style world, even though Candy never spells it out. We love it when Candy flips the usual roles like this.
The third character earns her place too. She begins as a threat, someone who could get them both into trouble, and finishes as a participant. Moving from blackmail to invitation is a small arc, but plenty of five-parters offer less.
The drawback: Candy’s summary reveals nearly everything, including the final turn, so beyond the dynamic itself there is not much left to discover.

Our verdict
It is a simple premise built on dominance, with a jealous witness who gets pulled in. Knowing how it ends makes it slimmer than it first appears, but it is cheap, and the free episodes will quickly tell you whether Harlow is your kind of trainer. Candy keeps finding new angles like this, and we are always happy to spend our tokens on them.
