The plot, as Candy tells it
Quinn comes to stay for a month in the home her step-brother shares with his girlfriend. One secret kiss happens, and instead of remaining a single mistake it becomes a compulsion. He keeps returning to it and cannot seem to stop.
The synopsis is short, but the arc is clear: a slip, then escalation, with one question hanging over everything, which is when the girlfriend will find out. Quinn is named and set up as the one who starts it, while her step-brother is the one who loses control.
What works
A cheating story needs the betrayed partner nearby, and this one keeps her there: the girlfriend is present for the whole stay, so the risk is never far away. Framing it as an “addiction” also points to escalation rather than a single encounter, which fits the five-episode format neatly. We were hooked by the end of the free part.
What doesn’t
The formula is well known. Visits between step-siblings are among Candy’s most common setups, and Quinn gets no particular motive or backstory. No twist is teased, and the ending is left to the episodes. It feels like a reliable genre entry rather than a standout.
