The plot, according to Candy

The best friend’s mom setup is a familiar way for a Candy series to open, but here it comes with a real difference. Rather than one temptation, he faces a choice between two very different personalities, and the word “shared” in the title hints that choosing may not be his only option.

The central idea is the contrast between the two women, and it works fairly well. Confidence versus playfulness gives each episode two moods to work with, and the question of whom he picks lends a short story a light spine. Candy pitches it as fun rather than drama; there is no jealous husband, secret or deadline in the synopsis.
