The setup
Brooke is a wrestler whose career is nearly finished by one savage match. The series follows her fight to return, and on the way she finds herself drawn to her opponent, the woman facing her across the ring. She never expected the attraction, and she cannot push it away.
What makes it different
Almost everything about this premise is unusual for Candy. There is a female lead pursuing her own ambition, a sports backdrop in place of a house or an office, and two women at the center of it. Enemies-to-lovers is a proven formula, and the comeback story raises the stakes in a way most short series do not, since Brooke has more to lose than a secret. We love that Candy dares to go this far outside its usual lanes.
Only a few series run longer than five episodes, and this is one. Six episodes give it a little more room than normal to move from rivalry to whatever follows.

Our verdict
Kiss My Enemy has one of the freshest premises on Candy, combining an athlete’s comeback and a fierce rivalry with an attraction between two women that the heroine never saw coming. Without a rating or tags, the free episodes count for more than usual, but 48 tokens is a tiny bet on an idea this tempting. We would place that bet again in a heartbeat.
