The plot of the series
Everything is set for his bachelor party until his future mother-in-law cancels it loudly in front of everyone. It comes across as a strict parent laying down the law. An hour later, however, with her daughter asleep upstairs, she reveals a different plan: a private “gift” in place of the party, as two of her friends quietly come in through the back door.
Why the setup grabs you
A lot of the charm is right there in the title. “Not under my roof” is what strict parents always say, and the series turns it on its head within a single evening. A public no followed by a private yes is a tidy reversal, and two extra women make it a group story rather than the usual pair.
The daughter sleeping upstairs pushes the stakes higher. Everything happens under the same roof as the person with the most to lose. Honestly, that is the kind of daring scenario Candy puts on screen that the big adult studios would never risk.
Where it falls short
Beyond the twist, there is not much character work. We learn nothing about the groom, the bride-to-be or the two friends, and once the gift is on the table the synopsis offers little sense of where it goes. Candy lists no tags, and we have not given it an explicitness rating yet.

Our final take
Not Under My Roof runs on one clever twist: the woman who cancels the party ends up throwing a very different one. The characters are sketchy and our scale has not measured it, but the premise has a clear hook and a bigger cast than most. At the standard price it is a worthwhile gamble, and one more reason we happily keep our Candy plan active.
