The story so far
Every university has one: the woman who seems to have everything and, from your point of view, may as well live on a different planet. In this series she leaves that planet. She turns up in your dorm room looking like someone who knows exactly why she came.
It is wish fulfillment with a small mystery built in. Calling her a “secret roommate” suggests there is a reason she is there, but the synopsis never spells it out. It falls to the episodes to explain how she ended up in your room, and why.
What works
The hook is simple and effective: the girl nobody can get is, just this once, standing in front of you. Told in the second person, it makes you the ordinary student, and the word “secret” in the title hints at at least a small reveal down the line. A campus setting is also a nice change from the family homes that dominate Candy’s Taboo tag. We love that Candy keeps finding fresh backdrops like this.
What falls flat
The synopsis offers almost no characterization. She is defined only by her status and confidence, and the only thing it says about you is that she is out of your league. The Taboo tag is puzzling, too: the official description names no relatives and no partner, so if you want a forbidden relationship, nothing here promises one.

Our verdict
Oops! I’m Your Secret Roommate delivers light, confident fantasy, a hint of mystery and not much more. It costs almost nothing to try, the free episodes answer the big question, and it gets away from family taboo. Keep expectations modest and the title should deliver. At these prices, a Candy plan is money we are happy to spend.
