The premise
Thanksgiving looks lonely for Ryan until his friend Kyle takes him home. The big dinner is in the hands of Kyle’s mom, played here by Lexi Luna’s AI likeness, and she is busy in the kitchen. The game is on in the living room, but she keeps calling Ryan into the kitchen instead. Candy’s description ends on that image, and so does our summary.
Why this new series hits the spot
Holiday dinners come with their own cast: the hosts who never sit down, the guests who hover and the game nobody is really watching. This series takes that familiar scene and gives it an obvious point of tension: a mom, her son’s best friend and a kitchen that keeps drawing them together. It is cozy, seasonal and a bit naughty, which is exactly what a story about Thanksgiving should be.
The poster fits the mood. It is a warm autumn kitchen with a roast turkey and pies on the counter, Lexi Luna in a red top and apron, a man leaning in behind her and a figure in a football jersey in the background. The character is an AI version built from her licensed likeness, and she films nothing.
