The story in brief
Seen from outside, Emilia has the perfect life. Then comes one forbidden night with a step-cousin, and her sister, described as ruthless in the synopsis, is suddenly holding exactly the weapon required to tear it all down. Emilia is pulled in two directions: toward the man she desires, and against a sister ready to destroy everything as long as she comes out on top.
Why five episodes would not be enough
Only a few Candy series stretch to 15 episodes, and this premise seems made for the extra space. Rivalry between siblings is a slow burn by nature: leverage can be used, teased, traded and turned around. Emilia has something to protect and someone working hard against her, which is the backbone of any good drama.
The step-cousin angle keeps it within Taboo, its only Candy tag, yet the sisters’ war feels every bit as central as the forbidden romance. It is also a heroine-led story, a welcome shift in perspective for a catalogue that usually puts men at the center.
The downside: length means tokens
A longer series means a larger bill. Thirteen locked episodes at 12 tokens each add up to 156 tokens to finish, roughly $21.84 monthly, $14.04 quarterly or $6.24 yearly. That eats two months of plan tokens with 44 left over, and it is over four times the cost of a standard five-parter.
We have not rated it on our explicitness scale yet, and the synopsis puts drama ahead of intensity. Episodes 1 and 2 are free and give you a fair sense of the setup and the feud between the sisters, although they are only a small slice of a 15-episode story.
Who should commit
Caught Between Sisters suits viewers who want a real plot to follow, with betrayal and power games spread over a complete arc. If you would rather spend the standard 36 tokens on a quick scenario that wraps up fast, a five-parter is the better pick.
Compared with other long series
Its obvious rival is Mona’s Worst Enemy, likewise 15 episodes and 156 tokens, with the Sister and Taboo tags. Simona Rossi: Wrong But Right is just as long but costs 144 tokens, since a third episode is free. For a shorter taste of the longer format, Dad’s New Girlfriend offers 6 episodes for 48 tokens.
Verdict: a solid setup with a hefty bill
Few Candy series come with a stronger dramatic foundation than Caught Between Sisters: a clear heroine, a clear antagonist and a conflict that can realistically fill 15 episodes. The thing to weigh is the 156-token price. Start with the two free episodes; if the rivalry grabs you, remember that each locked episode still costs the standard 12 tokens, so the extra spend buys more story rather than a premium rate. On the yearly plan, we would not hesitate for a second.
